About
South Carolina Jacuzzi Hotels
South Carolina runs on its coast, and the coast runs on the whirlpool suite. Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand anchor the north — 60 miles of beach with oceanfront resort towers where in-room jacuzzis are standard family-and-couples inventory, one of the highest-volume beach markets on the East Coast. Charleston brings the historic-city version to the Lowcountry, and Hilton Head runs the polished island-resort tier to the south.
Inland, the state carries two more markets. The Upstate — Greenville, Spartanburg, and the Blue Ridge foothills — has become one of the Southeast’s surprise destinations, with a nationally praised Greenville downtown and whirlpool stock that discounts on weekends. And the Midlands, centered on Columbia, run the capital-and-university market alongside Aiken’s horse country and the lakes.
The seasons are coastal-driven. Myrtle Beach and the Strand peak from spring break through summer, with golf season (the Strand is a golf capital) extending the shoulders; Charleston and Hilton Head run strong spring and fall (Charleston’s festival calendar and mild weather); and the inland markets price on events year-round. A whirlpool suite in South Carolina most often means an oceanfront balcony — but the historic inns and mountain-foothill stays are the state’s quieter rewards.
