Methodology
Prices are the nightly rate on each hotel’s live listing for a standard room with a private in-room hot tub, collected in August 2026 and taken as the median for each state so a handful of luxury outliers do not skew the figure. A state was included once it had at least 15 verified hotels, which covered all 50. Every hotel counted has a private hot tub inside the guest room, checked the way we describe on our how we verify page. Guest ratings use a 10-point scale.
