Every hotel listed here has been checked for one thing: a private hot tub inside the guest room. Not a shared spa down the hall, not a pool-deck jacuzzi, not a whirlpool in the gym. A tub you can use with the door closed.
That difference is the reason this site exists. Most travel sites file all of these under a single “hot tub” label. We separate them by hand.
What counts as a private in-room hot tub
A hotel qualifies when the tub belongs to the guest room or its own balcony, patio, or ensuite, for the use of whoever is staying in that room. That covers:
- A jetted whirlpool or deep soaking tub built into the bathroom or bedroom
- A two-person jacuzzi suite tub
- A private hot tub on a balcony, deck, or patio that comes with the room
What we leave out
- Shared pools, spa areas, and rooftop hot tubs open to every guest
- Whirlpools in the fitness center or locker room
- Places that turned out to be short-term rentals instead of staffed hotels
If a property only has a shared spa, it stays off the list, however good that spa is.
How we check each hotel
Before a hotel goes on the site we read its current listing: the room-type names, the amenity list, the written room description, and the photos. It gets added only when at least two of those confirm a tub in the room. A room called “Jacuzzi Suite” is a starting point, not proof, so we check the photos and description to be sure the tub is in the room and not a stock shot of the hotel spa.
For each hotel we also record the street address, so the map on every city page points to the right building.
About the prices and ratings
The price range, guest rating, and review count on each card come from the hotel’s live listing and shift over time. We refresh them in batches, so read them as a recent snapshot, not a live quote. The booking page shows the real price for your dates.
We take listings down, too
Checking is not a one-time job. Recently we removed several hundred listings that were vacation rentals or had dropped their in-room tub. When a hotel changes or closes, it comes off the site.
